This is a Waggoner Ranch stallion - www.waggonerranches.com. Jack and Susan Waggoner have one of the best breeding operations of all time. I was in Fort Worth watching Western Bloodstock screen the two-year olds in training and taking notes in December of 2001. Later that week while searching for a stallion for Cat Tivito, I came across TUMBLEWEED SMITH and my husband recalled seeing two of his foals in the screening. I did not remember seeing the filly, but C.W. had said positive things about her and how "Flashy" she was. I remembered the stud colt that was in the screening; he had so much presence and was just gorgeous. C.W. had seen Tumbleweed Smith work and was very high on his style, so that is why we picked him. I have confidence that the Waggoners will continue to promote this great stallion.

The 2002 NCHA Futurity proved to be the beginning of a successful breeding program of Weeds. From a total get of five head, three went to the Futurity with one advancing to the Open Semi-Finals and the Limited Open Finals and another to the Non-Pro Semi-Finals. Pretty good odds that he can sire Weeds that can win for you.
